Interim COVID-19 Visitation
Arbor Springs Visitation Update
November 18, 2021
In accordance with CMS guidelines, most visitation restrictions have been lifted. All residents can now have visits, and at all times, without an advanced appointment. There is no limit to the number of visitors or amount of time you can visit. The facility must ensure that all core principles of infection control are followed by all visitors who enter and visit in the facility. When you visit, you should screen at the entrance and not visit if you have symptoms, or you have a positive covid test requiring you to quarantine. After successful screening, you should go directly to your resident’s room and do not stop in hallways and common areas to talk to staff or other residents. Please, always wear your mask over your mouth and nose when in the hallways. If your resident shares a room with someone else and that person is immunocompromised, your visit will be in an alternate location. Always maintain distance between you and other residents and staff while visiting and utilize the alcohol-based sanitizer to sanitize your hands. We want you to know that there is still risk of COVID-19 transmission in visitation, and that this can be mitigated with everyone following all infection control guidelines.
